Ella got this super cute project on her first day of School on Monday. They had her lay on the ground and they traced her body outline on paper. Then sent it home with us to decorate it to describe basically who Ella is. It was so funny. We stared at it for a bit and then decided to start drawing the basics. Her Brown hair and Brown eyes. Her mouth and nose. Then she needed clothes so we drew her favorite Belle princess dress and she colored on matching red high heel shoes. Her favorite princess crown. That was pretty easy. Then from there we had to add on some things to "decorate her"
We were also told to list her favorite in a few categories. It turned out scary looking but so adorable and will make a great keepsake when she is older. :) This was a Mommy and Me project so I drew a lot of the stuff and let her color it in and then asked her what she wanted on it. Above is the large overview photo of how scary... (I mean CUTE) it turned out, and then closeups.
Name, Eyes, and Hair Color:
She drew her own mouth. I drew in teeth. She colored the lips. And of course a girl has to have her jewelry (right Pamela?)
She signed her own name. And we listed her favorite sport: Swimming, as well as showed off how she loves to have her nails painted!
My two spongebobs. TRUE story. I drew Spongebob (her favorite tv show) and she was like Mom, he does NOT look like that. You need to do it again!" HA HA HA! She was right though.

And her favorite animals according to her. (cats? Whose kid are you???)
One last fact! "I am really tall and I have BIG feet!" Understatement of the century. Her and her 6 3/4 year old cousin are practically in the same size shoes! Ha ha ha! Maybe she will be pushing 6 ft like they say she might... we'll see!
next time can we get some math homework? Just kidding.
